Snowtape – Die beste Art Webradio zu hören
Um Webradios am Mac zu hören reicht in den meisten Fällen iTunes. Wer aber mehr Komfort und Funktionsumfang haben möchte sollte sich mal Snowtape angucken. Das Programm hat eine sehr übersichtliche Benutzeroberfläche und aktualisiert automatisch die Senderlisten. Zur Zeit sind mehr als 1200 Stationen aufgeführt. Man kann die Radiostationen nach Genre, Land oder auch Qualität des Streams sortieren. Das Besondere an Snowtape ist aber vor allem die Aufnahmefunktion. Wenn ein Radiosender läuft braucht man nur den Aufnahmeknopf drücken und die Aufnahme auf die Festplatte beginnt. Sofern der Sender die Informationen des Titels mit überträgt werden bei der Aufnahme einzelne Songs mit entsprechender Bezeichnung gespeichert. Wer die Aufnahmen bearbeiten möchte kann dies über ein Werkzeug tun. Für iPhone/iPod Touch Besitzer ist die Snowtape Remote App interessant. Die App dient dazu Snowtape fernzusteuern. Wenn man z.B. auf dem Sofa sitzt kann man einen Sender auswählen oder die Aufnahme starten. [...]

Компания Vemedio выпустила новую версию своего приложения для прослушивания и записи Интернет-трансляций Snowtape 0.4, которое продолжает стремительно обрастать новыми функциями.
С точки зрения проигрывателя потоковых трансляций Snowtape полностью идентичен разделу «Радио» в последних версиях iTunes: он имеет даже примерно такую же классификацию каналов, разве что их пока у него будет поменьше (справедливости ради надо отметить, что поддерживается прямой импорт каналов из iTunes, а в версии 0.4 эта функция стала более наглядна). Главное отличие Snowtape заключается в легкости записи трансляций. [...]

Snowtape 0.4: Jetzt mit Mini-Player
Vemedio stattet die Version 0.4 von Snowtape mit einigen neuen Features aus, einem aus iTunes bekannten Miniatur-Player beispielsweise. Dieser soll Anwendern helfen, keine Lieblingstitel zu verpassen - schließlich sollen diese nach und nach alle in die iTunes-Bibliothek Einzug halten. Falls das Aufnehmen nicht klappt, kann man sie nun auch über Affiliate-Links direkt im iTunes Store kaufen. Die Coversuche haben die Entwickler verbessert, Anwender dürften sich über die Unterstützung systemweiter Tastenkürzel freuen. [Mac] Internetradio aufzeichnen mit Snowtape
Snowtape ist eine schickes Mac-Programm, mit dem man sehr bequem Internetradio-Streams aufnehmen kann. Das Programm erkennt, wann ein Song anfängt bzw. aufhört, schneidet diese dann und fügt alle bekannten ID3 Tags und meistens auch ein passendes Cover hinzu. Neben Growl-Support bietet das Tool auch einen direkten Export nach iTunes.

Algunos maqueros ya tenemos una edad. Algunos -entre los que orgullosamente me incluyo- vivimos la increíble década de los 80 en todo su apogeo. ¿Qué adolescente que se precie no tenía por aquel entonces uno de aquellos famosos radiocassette “doble pletina”, en los que grabábamos la radio en cintas de cassette una y otra vez (independientemente de si éstas eran cintas vírgenes o no, porque para eso teníamos cinta adhesiva … para convertir las cintas “originales” en fantásticas cintas vírgenes!) Snowtape enregistre les radios Internet
Dans le même genre, il existe, par exemple, WireTap Studio. Snowtape semble vouloir jouer la carte de la plus grande simplicité. Le programme permet certes d'écouter les radios internet (au format MP3 pour le moment, l'AAC+ et le Vorbis viendront ensuite), de chercher celles qu'on veut en fonction de ses goûts ou d'autres critères. Mais le logiciel permet aussi d'enregistrer le programme. Il sait même, d'ailleurs, identifier les coupures pub pour mieux les "sauter". [...]
